Mission and Vision
Mission of the Office of International Relations is to have university students and academic members acquire international experience in the activities of education and research, help to integrate students and scholars, who come from abroad, with the university and contribute both the development of the region and university by utilizing from international programs and projects.
Vision of the Office of International Relations is to provide flow of information of the best opportunities and give expertise service in order to assure effective interaction with national and international circles.
Fields of Activity
a) By paying attention to the requirements and the potentials of the university, it is aimed to cooperate, develop and maintain the interaction with foreign universities to realize the objectives below:
-Student Exchange
-Exchange of the academic members
-Joint program, project, research and meeting
-Cooperation in other fields
b) To carry out primarily Erasmus and all the programs and projects on behalf of the university that The Center for European Education and Youth Programs co-ordinate.
c) To provide the flow of information about the national and international projects, have faculty members conduct projects or/and participate to these projects and perform these projects when it is necessary.
d) With the intent of informing students and faculty members about the international projects, programs, seminars, courses and similar opportunities, organizing introductory meetings, distributing promotional announcements, making announcements on the web page, posting notifications and / or sending e-mails
f) Making necessary corrections and having them carried out in order to help those who are going to participate to the education and research programs in abroad by benefit from the sources of European Union Education Programs and the sources of the University.
g) Ensuring the maximum fund for the European Union Education Programs and making the plans of payments and expenditures.
h) Preparing the international bilateral agreements on behalf of the university and planning the oversea visits.
i) Following national and international educational and introductory expositions and activities and planning these activities.
j) Cooperating with the relevant units for short-termed language education for those who are going to attend to international exchange programs and organizing orientation programs.
k) Making necessary arrangements and organizing orientation programs to meet the accommodation requirements of students and faculty members coming from foreign universities.
l) Ensuring student and academic member exchange in cooperation with the domestic institutions of higher education within the frame of National Exchange Program planned to be enforced by Turkish Council of Higher Education and making contributions in the planning and the maintenance of joint education, research and projects of social service.
m) Supporting the preparation of programs of the inter-university activities which are going to be organized in the university, contributing to the voluntary educational activities, carrying out the necessary studies which are ongoing and hosted by the university.
